I grew up in a small town near New Delhi, India, with an overly affectionate family and a strong fascination with Italy and all things Italian. I can't recall when the fascination began, but I do know that one of my favourite things to do, before I lived in Italy, was imagine what it would be like to live in Italy.

It wasn't until I arrived in Italy for my Masters, that the full force of it hit me. And it has continued to hit me everyday since. I made a small illustrated book about my time in Italy, while I was there, to remember just how it felt to be where I always wanted to be. It's called here and there, and it chronicles small details and comparisons between Florence and Delhi.
